People who are likely to visit this blog already have a variety of stories from me in answer to the question ‘why Marfa?’, some of which may be truer than others.
At the heart of all my answers is my need to reinvent myself from time to time, act outside of character as it were, don a new persona.
Another Day in Marfa may be as good a way as any to answer the ‘why Marfa’ question each day, as the answers will no doubt unfold each day. And I hope it’s a way to stay in touch with friends whose presence I feel every day, as I embark on the latest of my series of solitary adventures.
